OVERVIEW

Seychelles Made is administered by the Enterprise Seychelles Agency (ESA), established under the Seychelles Made Act.

The certification process is supported by inspections, product evaluations, and an independent Seychelles Made Evaluation Committee (SMEC), which assesses applications against established certification criteria for approval.

THE SEYCHELLES MADE EVALUATION COMMITTEE (SMEC)

The Seychelles Made Evaluation Committee (SMEC) is established in accordance with the Seychelles Made Regulations as the independent body responsible for reviewing and assessing certification applications.

The Committee evaluates applications against the prescribed certification criteria and provides recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer of ESA regarding the approval, renewal, suspension, or revocation of certification.
